PRODUCT INFORMATION:

Garnier Nutrisse hair color creme nourishes with grape seed and avocado oil. The nourishing color creme enriched with fruit oil concentrate, penetrates deep into hair fibers to nourish and condition your hair so it takes color better and holds it longer, root-to-tip. Garnier Nutrisse delivers rich, long-lasting color with 100% gray coverage.

Is Shade 80 (Butternut) right for you?
Garnier Nutrisse Medium Natural Blonde 80 (Butternut) is a pure, natural blonde, one shade lighter than Nutrisse Dark Natural Blonde 70 (Almond Creme). It will allow your natural tones to show through and will provide 100% gray coverage. Shade 80 (Butternut) is best for anyone with natural hair between light blonde and light brown.

If you would like a lighter shade that still reflects naturally, shade 90 (Macadamia) might be for you. If you would like to remain in the medium blonde range but would like to explore other reflects and tones, explore shade 82 (Champagne Fizz) and 83 (Cream Soda).

*For women with currently color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 80 (Butternut) for hair that has been previously colored Light Natural Brown 60 (Acorn) or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the perfect shade for you!

How to use:

Nutrisse nourishes while it colors with a rich, non drip creme formula, and with an ampoule of grape seed oil, it smells great while you apply.

2) Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves, squeeze colorant (B) into developer bottle (A).
4) Break off the tip and shake the bottle vigorously.

8) Massage hair thoroughly before rinsing to optimize rinsing process.
9) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I dye my hair blonde a lot, which means I bleach it. So after I bleach my hair it comes out really light, thats where this Garnier color comes in. I apply this color after the bleach and it tones it down to a color I like better. It doesnt smell bad and works Great. This is my before and after I applied this color pics.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I actually really like this product. It is a great buy and does a pretty good job of coloring my hair. It did not come out the exact color I thought but actually turned out even better. It didn't make my hair look dull or brassy. Definitely a great buy for the money and yes I would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product!!! So easy to use. Compared to other brands love the scent, and how rich the color turns out, especially how it compliments my natural highlights. I'm a dark brunette naturally, so I used the dark Auburn. Amazing!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This bleached my hair and definitely made it lighter but this isn't something that I would use again. The bleach damaged my hair more than it should have and my hair felt like straw for a good few months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in new product. Used Butternut (80) hair color for many years and loved the color. Purchased the one with the new packaging and used it last month and it did not cover the white roots and left my hair a terrible light color, Decided to give it another chance and colored it again today and left the color on longer, got the same lousy results, a light mousy dull color. Will not use that color again. Why did you change a good product?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT THE SAME #80 SHADE IN THE NEW BOX.... I have been using Garnier Fructis Medium Natural Blonde 80..Butternut...for more than 10 years....THE NEW BOX DOES NOT COLOR YOUR HAIR THE SAME COLOR....IT COMES OUT SHADES LIGHTER....LIKE OLD HAG HAIR..TOO LIGHT..SOMETIMES THIS HAPPENS WITH HAIR COLOR...IN THE PAST...I HAD A FEW BOXES THAT WERE DARKER AND EVEN LIGHTER...BUT NEVER LIKE THIS....THAT THE BOXES ARE ALL MAKING MY HAIR LIGHTER...AND NOT COVERING ANY OF THE GRAY......IT IS HORRIBLE.... ..I read on here...that the company insists that the formula has not changed..WELL...THEN THERE IS A HUGE MIX UP WITH THE COLOR......Since June...I have been going to every store..and buying up all the old boxes of #80...The old boxes work fine....There has to be some error in boxing of this color....I have purchased many boxes of the new packaging....from different stores in Queens, NY and Manhattan, NY...and it is the same result...The new packaging is many...many shades lighter...The new boxes do not cover any gray at all...I have gray side burns...gray at the roots...the new box does nothing....I have long hair..and use three boxes at one time...Sometimes I use one box or two or three...It depends....I HAVE WAISTED MY TIME AND MONEY AND MY HAIR IS NOT THE SAME GORGOUS COLOR THAT I USED TO HAVE. ..I had thought that this was only a small batch of them in error...NO...ALL THE NEW BOXES OF #80 ARE THE WRONG COLOR..TOO LIGHT OF A COLOR......EVEN WHEN MIXING...I NOTICED THE DYE IN THE BOTTLE LOOKS A LIGHT PURPLE...IN THE PAST ...IT WOULD LOOK WHITE AND GET A LITTLE PURPLE AND DARKER...BUT THIS NEW PACKAGING...THE DYE WHEN APPLYING IS WHITE/ PURPLE....I will have to find a new hair dye to use...I am down to my last old box of this product and a new box that I do not want to use....I even use the Garnier Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner...and the frizz oil for humidity......I use the line...I am so SO BEYOND ANGRY....I KNOW THAT THIS IS A POPULAR COLOR #80...MY DRUGSTORES WOULD ALL RUN OUT OF MY SHADE...EVEN IF IT WAS NOT ON SALE...I WOULD ALWAYS HAVE TO STOCK UP....CLEARLY...THERE IS A MAJOR MISTAKE...THE COMPANY HAD TO PUT THE WRONG SHADE OF DYE IN #80....I WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AND COLOR...NOT ANYMORE....SO SAD...THAT I HAVE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER HAIR COLOR COMPANY.... THERE ARE SO MANY WOMEN... FAITHFUL TO THIS BRAND AND COLOR......AND IT IS A SHAME THAT YOU WILL BE LOSING US ALL.....NOT MY CHOICE....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Change in color I too always used # 80 for years and was happy with color and product. Since the new packaging the color is very light. I did leave it in 50 min with no change in the lightness of the product. I did change to # 93 light golden blonde and am a little happier with color but not the same as # 80. I would still like to find a more comparable color. I wasn't glad I wasn't the only one who experienced this. I thought it was me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New packaging changed the color I have been using this product (Butternut) 80 ever since I started dying my hair and have always liked it. This last time I purchased the same product with the new packaging and my hair got much lighter, and I was very disappointed. It states no change in product but there was a big difference. What color should I use now?
