Extra-Light Ash Blonde 111 (White Chocolate)

Is Shade 111 (White Chocolate) right for you?
Garnier Extra-Light Ash Blonde 111 (White Chocolate) is our lightest blonde shade with cool tones to help counteract warmth. It lifts up to 3 levels, provides 100% gray coverage, and is best for anyone with natural hair between light blonde and light brown.

If you would prefer a more natural shade, 100 (Chamomile) might be for you.

*For women with currently colored hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 111 (White Chocolate) for hair that has been previously colored Dark Natural Blonde 70 (Almond Creme) or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the perfect shade for you!

Garnier Nutrisse hair color creme nourishes with grape seed and avocado oil. The nourishing color creme enriched with fruit oil concentrate, penetrates deep into hair fibers to nourish and condition your hair so it takes color better and holds it longer, root-to-tip. Garnier Nutrisse delivers rich, long-lasting color with 100% gray coverage.

How to use:

Nutrisse nourishes while it colors with a rich, non drip creme formula, and with an ampoule of grape seed oil, it smells great while you apply.

Follow this step-by-step process when applying full-head color at home:

1) Always do a skin test by following the insert instructions in the kit 48 hours before.
2) Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves, squeeze colorant (B) into developer bottle (A).
4) Break off the tip and shake the bottle vigorously.
5) Spread mixture on the hair length to the ends, avoiding the root area. Time for 10 minutes.
6) After 10 minutes, apply remaining mixture to root area—leave in for an additional 20 minutes (Total 30 minutes).
7) Massage hair with small amount of water before rinsing to optimize rinsing process.
8) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
9) Apply Nourishing Conditioner (D) and leave on for two minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

If you only need a root touch-up, please follow insert Touch-Up Application instructions.

Always read insert instructions before applying any hair color.

Tip: Try Micellar Cleansing Water, Waterproof to remove hair color stains.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this dye is terrible I have a medium blonde color naturally which according to the box should have been able to bring me up to the lightness depicted on the box. I made sure to buy an “ash” tone to avoid brassiness. IT TURNED MY HAIR ORANGE. It did not even hardly lighten my already pretty light hair but instead turned it orange. I hate this product I’m upset that I even used it on my hair as now it feels damaged and looks ugly. I will have to go spend more money to find a better product to correct it. DO NOT BUY AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS EVEN IF YOU HAVE A LIGHT BASE COLOR.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do not recommend blonde colors i’ve had really good results with other colors from this brand. i have medium brown hair and i used this color and it didn’t change my color at all, it only bleach my roots. i would not recommend this color if you have dark hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money I'm usually pretty understanding when it comes to at home hair dyes/bleaching kits as I know it's pretty difficult to get a professional look when you're doing it at home with limited supplies, but this product Sucks. I bought two boxes of it just in case the first round doesn't lighten as much as I want it. Well it was a total waste of money because neither of them did anything to my hair. I started off with a light chestnut color, and after TWO BOXES it looks exactly the same.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First time using box hair color I did exactly as the directions stated, my natural hair color is medium blonde. I wanted to lighten it up because my salon isn’t open yet for my normal highlights. Well, this hair color turned the top of my head a brassy, Orangey color. The mid-shaft to the ends look good. I would probably not use this again. I will try to wash with purple shampoo to get the brassy tones out of the crown of my head.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great I have light brown hair and using this definitely did lighten my hair to a yellowy blonde when I used two boxes. It looks a little orange and a ton of my hair fell out......

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Still Angry! I posted a review one year ago stating I had been using the same "111 White Chocolate" color for many, many years and always had it come out a perfect pale, cool blonde. Even my hairdressers could not believe it was from a box. But all of a sudden, it started to turn my hair a reddish color. The reason I am posting this now, again, is because of the reply I received from Garnier. It's a similar reply to everyone else who had the same complaint... "We're sorry to hear you'e no longer getting the color results you expected after using the Nutrisse #111. We typically wouldn't recommend that shade when ones hair is naturally medium brown. We suggest you always choose a color that's 2 shades lighter then your natural color. When you go too light you expose your natural undertones which are red and orange." Thanks for the reply, Garnier, but the problem is that this color HAD been working consistently and PERFECTLY, so IF YOU DID NOT CHANGE THE FORMULA, then this makes no sense, as I am sure you well know. It was such a sudden change for me, I assumed the box had expired or was incorrectly labeled, but when 3 months later, I had the same problem, I looked into possible reasons, iron in the water supply, maybe another expired box or had my hair changed overnight becoming unable to hold the color??? NONE OF OT MADE ANY SENSE, AND NOR DOES YOUR REPLY. And just an FYI, I had an old box and compared it to a new one, and the ingredients are different. How do you explain that??? Pics below of my hair as it always turned out for 12 plus years, and the reddish orange color it suddenly became!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Silver Blonde EVER This was my first time using this dye and I absolutely loved it! My hair usually turns brassy and dry after box dye. However, this formula worked perfectly, and left me with a silver blonde color that I love, while still coloring my roots which faded nicely into the rest of my hair. I did use purple shampoo twice after I finished coloring. Followed the directions exactly and I am 100% satisfied with the results! I have fine and flat hair, and even had thicker and fuller hair and volume after I finished blow drying! I’m glad I box two boxes because I will be using this again in 6 weeks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the sane I’ve been using this shade for over 10 years. It is not the same for the last year. It’s orange toned . They keep replying they haven’t changed the formula . I’m glad I found these reviews so now I know I’m not crazy!
