Garnier Fructis Extreme Control Anti-Humidity Aerosol Hair Spray

This has been my favorite hairspray for years but the last 2 cans have been horrible. It's comparable to spraying wet air on your hair. There is NO hold whatsoever and it just leaves it a wet mess! So disappointed! Definitely moving on to something that has "extreme" hold.

Garnier - Extreme Control Hairspray should be called Extreme Hair FLATTENING Spray. I am shocked to find, that considering your primary purpose is to make products that work for hair, that you would promote this as "hairspray". Upon application, it makes you hair wet and flattens your hair. It does not hold a thing. Then when it finally dries, it leaves hairspray flakes in your hair. Unless I have a defective can, this product is a disaster. I wish it worked, as it smells GREAT!!! But I need a strong HAIRSPRAY, not perfume.

I used to love this hairspray, but they must have changed the formula over the past year. Doesn’t hold like it used to and has more shine. Time to switch to something else.

I very much enjoyed testing out this hairspray and overall considered it to be a product I like and would use in my daily life. This product is labeled as a 4 out of 5 on the its hold strength and I definitely found that to be true. It worked well for styles where I wore my hair up and where I teased it. It has wetter formula so I would say it is more useful for creating styles where you don't want the hair to budge, rather than styles where the goal is to have a soft moveable texture. The spray had a pleasant almost fruity scent that was not at all overpowering. My boyfriend also uses it when he creates a wave in his hair. He said he thought it had great hold and lasts for at least 6 hours before he needed a touch up. Overall definitely a product we would both recommend.

Garnier fructise Extreme Control hairspray not only holds great, but smells great also! I like in a dry, windy climate and this hairspray provided me with all day hold.

I am not a big hair spray user traditionally. I think that is because I have never found one I really like. Well, that is over. I love this hairspray. It smells great and holds amazingly. I used it to keep a bun in place and it exceeded my expectations. So much that even the next morning my hair was still in place! The only thing I didn't love about it was that you can't brush through your hair after applying this. But that is just because the hold is so good. Great product.

First this product smelled amazing. I really loved that I didn't smell like a chemical factory. So I usually use hair spray as a way to keep flaways under control. This product did ok for that. This product might be better for me in the summer time vs in the winter when static is everywhere from being so dry.

I have been using this hairspray for about two weeks. It holds extremely. Well and smells amazing! I feel like. It makes my hair frizzy. I have curly hair so my so my hair type is already frizzy. I wouldn't purchase but I do think it would work great on a different type of hair.

A product this good shouldn't be kept secret! I think Garnier Fructis Extreme Hold Hairspray matches up when being tested by a very active 5 year old. It holds bouncy curls all day long despite rough outdoor playing and the anti-humidity feature keeps every hair in place even when the weather has other plans.

Smells like a fruit smoothie, heavenly to smell all day. It doesnt feel crispy either which is my other favorite part! Ill be wearing this regularlly

Garnier Fructis Extreme Control Anti-Humidty hair spray gives your hair the control you need without the stiffness. The fine mist kept my style fresh without clumping my strands together and kept humidity and static at bay! The light fresh scent is crisp and clean without the overpowering typical hairspray scent.

I used this product to keep my hair up in a bun for work, and it worked wonderfully. The mist is very fine and goes on evenly, and I didn't have crunchy hair-even when I layered it on!

It’s a nice hair spray, it’s not sticky and it does hold my hair where I want it too. It does make my curls a little funky but when I put my hair up it does what I want it too.

After using Garnier Fructis Style Extreme Control Hairspray 24hr hold Anti Humidity, I really loved it. It does not have that powerfull chocking alcohol smell. The hold is great, smooth and flexible. You can run your hand through your hair to feel the bounce without leaving the white flakes all over your hair.

I really have nothing bad to say about this product. I live in a hot, humid area, though it's Winter right now, and I need a product that will keep my bangs in place and most importantly NOT add extra grease. This product does the trick and didn't cause pimples around my forehead (another common problem). Not for people who want extra-EXTRA-hold. (Reviewer has long, wavy, combo, bleached hair.)

I loved this hairspray. I do not typically wear hairspray on an everyday basis but have been wearing my hair up alot more and used this hairspray to hold my styles in place. I LOVE the scent and it holds really well without giving you that crunchy feeling. I would definitely recommend this hairspray!!!

I think the hold is amazing and lasts all day! It works so well that I actually sometimes have trouble taking my hair style down. I can take off all the bobby pins and hair clip and the outer part of my hair style where I sprayed it with this hairstyle stays exactly like I had it. As for frizz control, it does hold up for the most part, but I still get a couple of fly aways during the day, but I do live in a very humid area of the south Texas coast. If I did not use this specific hair spray, my hair would be a frizzy mess all over so it does make a huge difference it reducing and almost completely eliminating frizz, but I do get a little bit. My takeaway is that this Extreme Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray by Garnier Fructis is worth getting and it will make a huge difference in your hairstyle on humid and/or windy days since your hair style will not go anywhere with it in.

I absolutely love this hairspray! I have naturally curly hair and my hair can be very frizzy and it works amazing especially for someone living in Michigan where the humidity is crazy! It doesn't leave your hair crunchy like most other hairsprays. It also smells good.

I have very fizzy hair. This is the first hairspay that has not only kept my frizz under control but it doesn't make my hair feel stiff or chrunchy! Not to mention it smells amazing. I even left the hairspay in over night and I woke up with my hair still looking flawless !

I am so in love with this hairspray! I used to work in a hair salon and I have to say this product smells great, and doesn't dry too quickly so you can work the hair for a while. It doesn't create a bunch of dandruff. I left it on for 24 hours and my hair looked and still felt great after all that time. I also tried it on my daughter who has very straight hair and she always has baby hairs sticking out in all directions and I didn't need to use too much, just a couple of short sprays. She went out for an entire day and when she got back her hair was still in place and no dandruff in sight. I will definitely be purchasing this product again and I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends!

I really like how my hair is less frizzy, when I use this hairspray. My hair will stay put all day thanks to this hair product. I've tried many hairspray, and this one my far is the best for my hair. I love the smell. I found my new go to hair spray!!

I recently tried the garnier extreme control hairspray. I did a little experiment to test how well it really worked on different types of hair. My daughter has really fine hair and sometimes hairsprays don't help hold her hair style. I feel this one did a decent job, it wasn't too stiff or crunchy like I was expecting from an extreme hold hair spray. I also tested the hair spray on my hair. I have pretty thick hair and just the weight of my hair alone makes it difficult to hold styles sometimes. I've never used garnier hairspray or an extreme hold so first off I noticed the great smell. Most hairsprays stink or smell like straight alcohol, this one smelled light and fruity. The day I used the garnier extreme hold hairspray was a day I had chosen to curl my hair. Like before with my daughter, I was afraid the hairspray might be crunchy in my hair, especially if I had to use a lot to hold the style. However, not only did I not have to use a ton of spray to set the style but it lasted most of the day and looked less frizzy than it usually does. I would say overall I was really impressed with the garnier extreme control hairspray!

Garnier Fructis Style Extreme hold is a great product. It takes some time to style my hair in the morning so I would like to see some bounce left in it at the end of the day. The Garnier Fructis style extreme hold gave me just that.I sprayed my hair after style and it gave a strong hold while I was still able to run my fingers through it. It didn't leave my hair with that sticky, stiff feeling. After a long, might I add HUMID day, I went for drinks and my hair was still looking great. And the smell was fabulous. It has a nice citrus smell instead of that harsh hairspray smell. I highly recommend this product.

I absolutely love this hair spray! As a busy mom I dont have time to worry about my hair. A simple spray makes my hair hold all day. And the best part no friz! By far my favorite hair spray.

The spray holds great but my hair was still able to move and wasn't weighed down. It held my daughters curls all day!
