Best Makeup Remover!!!!!!

What is this sorcery!?!?!?!?! This is an amazing product! Totally worth every penny! I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily. As well as very sensitive eyes. I had zero eye irritation and removing makeup from my eyes took seconds with zero effort. I legit used ONE cotton round to remove my WHOLE face!(foundation, powder, bronzer, eyeshadow, mascara, setting spray, lipliner on my lips) My skin feels smooth and completely dry to the touch, NOT ONE BIT OF OILINESS! I am very much impressed. This has no scent whatsoever. I highly recommend. Whatever your using seriously, stop and try this!

Burns and rash

If I could give this zero stars I would. If you want to wake up to chemical burns on your eye lids and red bumpy rash all over the rest of your face then this product is for you. Will never buy any skin care from Garnier again.

Burning eyes horrible product.

Absolutely awful. I could barely use because it burned my own eyes but bought a huge bottle of it. It’s not unusual I’m sensitive to things so I gave it to one of my friends. AND MY FRIEND had a horrible reaction to it where it burned her eyes and made her eyes puffy the next morning and extremely red! Horrible product. If it’s doing this to multiple people there’s something not right in the ingredients.

I am an MUA and this is a NO

I have used micellar waters for years on myself and other people as a make-up artist. In my opinion and personal experience (which I will focus on here) this product is not appropriate for very sensitive skin. Also, micellar waters should (in a perfect world) be rinsed off the face. However, everyone has a lazy day (or night) sometimes. This product burned my skin and left my eyes itchy, red, burning and raw with what felt like chemical burns. I admit that I have sensitive skin in general but my skin can tolerate some retinoids so I was shocked when this product was so volatile for me. Some people may be sensitive to rose but I honestly don't know what ingredient might be the culprit. I have used Bioderma and have never had this problem but it costs more. If you have any sensitivities with your skin use caution.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Terrible. Destroyed my Face

This dried out my skin on my face so badly it was inflamed and red. I’ve been trying to restore it for over a week and it’s been a painful process. I used the other micellar cleanser without issue. Be careful using this one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Why are we cautioned on the bottle to avoid getting the product in our eyes, yet it is promoted as a safe eye makeup remover?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello JP59 . Good question. The Rose Micellar Cleansing Water is gentle enough to safely and effectively remove the eye makeup around the eye area. However, like most cleansers, we still don't recommend actually getting it in the eyes. Rinse eyes thoroughly if this occurs. To remove eye makeup, saturate your cotton pad and hold on the eye for a few seconds (count to 10). This gives the makeup and mascara a chance to soften so it glides of easily.

Q: Is this product gluten free?

1 Answer
  • A: Hello Gluten Free! Thank you for your interest in the Water Rose Micellar Cleansing Water. Most ingredients derived from grain sources are highly refined and retain no traces of gluten proteins. For less refined ingredients from natural sources, Garnier has established strict limits on the level of potentially allergenic proteins. Since individuals exhibit a wide range of sensitivities to these proteins, if you have any questions or concerns you should discuss with your medical care provider. All the ingredients we use in a product are listed on the package or the label of the product itself. For products too small to accommodate the list, a separate ingredient list is available on the display unit in the store for your convenience. Since some ingredients are known by more than one name, we use the standard industry FDA-recognized names. A review of the ingredients that are listed on all of our products or packages will alert you to the presence of this type of ingredient.
