The ONLY Drugstore brand in my hair-care hoard!

I struggled terribly last winter with dry, breaking hair and must have tried 30+ conditioners, masks and treatments to hydrate and heal my poor, thin, fine, fragile strands. After discovering some amazing advice online from curly-haired women, I quit using sulfates and all silicones - I also switched to using only distilled water on my hair. It is so obvious to me now what was happening - I was using conditioners and masks full of silicones to make my hair appear "healthy" but they were coating my hair so badly that I was resorting to harsh clarifying shampoos to strip off the tough plasticy- silicone layers that were building up. This cycle was destroying my hair. I have fallen in love with the Garnier Pure Clean Conditioner! It leaves my hair moisturized, stronger, detangled, and very weightless and fluffy. My hair is beautiful again! I do not use the matching shampoo because it contains sulfates and the mousse has amodimethicone on the ingredients list. I would love a silicone-free mask next from Garnier and a silicone-free skin care line.

Bring back the original Pure Clean

I bought another bottle of PC conditioner in the green bottle - and then realized you had changed the formula - the original was wonderful for my very fine hair - gave it body and luster. The newer version is awful. You can feel the slime in it immediately and it doesn't want to rinse out. Leaves my hair flat and lifeless. I'll be tossing this stuff. Very disappointed

very good

This conditioner not only hydrates but it softens and reduces frizz. The only problem for me is that if you have hair prone to breakage, this might not be the right conditioner. It doesn't have enough slip. I am worried that I will lose too much hair as a result of that.

This should be recalled immediately!!
I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and this was the first time I've used it. I used as directed and while rinsing my hair it began to fall out! Atleast three handfuls as I rinsed it! The photo is what fell out as it was drying.
I'm very upset and will be contacting
customer service on Monday, because is
no way to reach anyone on weekends.
Now it feels like someone went through
my hair with thinning scissors!!
Also I truly hope someone pays
attention to this review. I wouldn't want
anyone else to go through this awful
experience!!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Product Works Well ForStraight Hair, Fine Hair, Thin Hair
I want to start by saying I never leave reviews, but this shampoo and conditioner is amazing. I was using a very expensive high end brand that ended up drying my hair out. I lost half my hair due to breaking. I used this and immediately saw moisturized, repaired, beautiful hair. Thank you!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great and affordable!

I bought this after trying two other silicone-free conditioners. The ones I bought previously were like water and was pricier than this one. I tried this afterward and was surprised that the results! My hair doesn't feel weighed down, easy to tangle, and can't beat for the price!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bring back the old formula
I went on vacation and my grandparents had the old formula down in their basement in the guest bathroom are used it and I fell in love immediately I left my hair just the right amount of moisturized but not too dry and not to oily. I’ve been searching stores only to find out that now there’s this new formula so I try it out and it sucks it is nothing like the old formula that made my hair feel amazing
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love it

Just started using this a few days ago and I love it! Most shampoos and conditioners eventually leave my hair dried out, but not this one! My hair is so soft and moisturized and I love that it’s free of harsh chemicals. Will definitely keep buying!
Yes, I recommend this product.

It's Okay!

I used the old formula and absolutely love it! It was wonderful for my thin, curly hair. The new formula seems to weigh it down. The shampoo is great but the new formula conditioner is aweful. It feels like I'm putting something waxy and sticky in my hair. In order to make it work.. I have to wash my hair with the shampoo again. im making it work, but I won't be buying it again. Please bring back the old formulation.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: is the new Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Conditioner biodegradable? I understand the old formula used to advertise being 92% biodegradable but there is nothing I can find about the latest formula being a better choice for the environment.

A: Hi Rach22! The Pure Clean Conditioner is the same formula as the original with aloe added. Its still a vegan formula and like all our Fructis shampoo and conditioners, the bottles are made with up to 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. And we’re committed to 100% this year!
