PRODUCT INFORMATION:

Our 1st oil powered permanent haircolor for brilliant color and visibly healthier hair.

The oil powered technology propels colorants deep into the hair, without ammonia, giving you pure, vivid, long-lasting color. Olia visibly improves and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, long-lasting color. Hair is Hydrated, Silky and up to 3X Shinier than unwashed, uncolored hair.

How is Olia different?
Unlike traditional haircolor, Olia uses an exclusive 60% oil blend with natural flower oils to achieve brilliant, radiant color results. The unique non-drip velvet cream formula propels colorants into the hair--without ammonia--with a pleasant sensorial fragrance.

Is this shade right for me?
Garnier Olia shade 7.0, "Dark Blonde," is a natural, dark blonde shade without other reflects, and will allow your natural tones to show through. Shade 7.0 will provide 100% gray coverage and is best for anyone with natural hair between medium blonde and medium brown.

If you would like to try a lighter shade that still reflects naturally, shade 8.0 might be for you.

*For women with currently color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 7.0 for hair that has been previously colored shade 5.0, "Medium Brown," or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the perfect shade for you!

How to use:

Applying Olia: A Sensorial Experience
Olia transforms coloring your hair into a new sensorial experience. Because Olia is ammonia-free, it won't irritate your scalp and there is no harsh ammonia smell. Instead, Olia has a delicate floral scent. And, its non-drip, velvety cream texture helps provide optimal comfort during application.

Follow this step-by-step process when applying color at home:

1) Always do a skin test 48 hours before.
2) Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves, snap off tip and remove the cap of the Developer Bottle and add Colorant.
4) Shake the bottle vigorously to mix.
5) Start applying color at the roots, then away from roots to the tips.
6) Extend color through to the ends and massage into hair.
7) Leave formula on for 30 minutes.
8) Massage hair thoroughly before rinsing to optimize rinsing process.
9) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
10) Apply conditioner after color and leave on for two minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty color but very warm. I used Garnier Olia Dark Blonde 1 week ago and wanted to wait and see if the color changed and how I felt about it after a few days. First I will say, I loved my hair color prior to using this. I have never used an all over dye, I have only had highlights and lowlights but I just couldn't blend my grey hairs anymore. After looking at hair color online for weeks and trying to decide what I wanted to do, I finally decided to go with a dark blonde because that is closest to my natural hair color, although there was literally no color on any box that was an exact match. The dying process was easy, I have long hair and 1 box (even though I bought 2) was enough. I used the "touch up" process of applying it to the roots and then during the last 5-10 minutes saturated the rest of my hair. The color was almost exactly like the color on the box. I still don't know if I like it, but that is just my personal preference. It is a lot more warm than I wanted, almost a golden color. I have got 2 compliments on it by complete strangers so I guess it's a good color, but I would have liked it to be a little lighter and more blonde. The color is good and where I had highlights it is lighter and darker where the lowlights were so I did get a good multi-dimensional color as well. The only negatives were the gloves they provided were super slippery and I could not hold the bottle, I literally shot both the bottle and a clip across my bathroom because of slippery hands and it didn't completely cover the stubborn grey hair at my temples. I give this color a 4 because it's a nice color but does not completely cover minimal grey and is more reddish then it looks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the color that was advertised I bought this in hopes of making my hair a little bit more blonde than what it was after I had lightened it originally. It turned out dark brown, exactly what I had before I lightened it the first time. It was a waste of time and money, thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color! Not brassy! I’m very pleased with this hair color! It’s the first product I’ve used that keeps true color!!! Other brands turn my hair brassy (like a yellow honey blonde). Not this one!!! So glad I found it! And it did a great job covering my gray areas too. Wish there were other choices in the “7” range, but this one is great!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not cool toned Non damaging product, but the color isn’t beautiful. It’s a weird type of blonde and leaves roots with a brass tint. Feels soft.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly Disappointed I always use the Garnier Nutrisse & have always been satisfied. I decided to try the Garnier Olia & was highly disappointed. The box & online says it is 100% gray coverage & that is not the case at all. I used 2 boxes to make sure my hair was covered. Color is not as vibrant & the gloves are terrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is the first time I tried Olia Buttercream 7. I usually purchase a different brand of hair color. I noticed this was marked a lower price, so I tried it. The downside is my hair is medium thick and shoulder length, I needed to add water for an all over coverage. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating and not 5. I am really happy with the results so far. My hair feels and looks soft and has beautiful body. I don't have the peroxide smell. I am overall very content.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dark blonde 7 I dyed my natural medium to lightish brown hair this color while back, No noticeable change in color expect took my red undertones made them more gold other then that no changes to hair color itself perhaps i picked wrong shade. Left my hair soft smooth wanting to try product again just in different shade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best I've ever used I've been using for about 2 yrs. I selected wrong color 1st time & even the 7.0 is a touch darker than I prefer. But after a few weeks it lightens & lightens evenly so I only have to use 2 to 3 times a year. It also makes my hair feel & look soft & covers grey completely.
