Dark Rose Quartz Hair Color Product Information Garnier’s Olia hair dye shade 7.20, "Dark Rose Quartz," is a deep pink infused with hints of soft plum and mauve. Dark rose quartz hair color works best on medium blonde to medium brown hair shades. Its non-drip, velvety cream texture makes it easy to apply at home. And because Olia is ammonia-free, there is no harsh smell and it won't irritate your scalp either. The dark rose quartz hair color kit includes everything you need to achieve perfect rose quartz hair: a developer applicator, a dark rose quartz hair colorant tube, after-color conditioner, gloves, and a detailed instruction sheet.
About Olia Unlike traditional hair dye, Olia uses a 60% oil blend with no ammonia natural flower oils to achieve brilliant, radiant color results. The oil-powered technology propels colorants deep within the hair, giving you vivid, long-lasting color. Olia visibly improves and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, long-lasting color. Olia-treated hair is hydrated, silky, and up to 3X shinier than unwashed, uncolored hair.

Once I found Olia I never looked back. I've been using light intense auburn for a year now and I'm in love. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and doesn't damage my hair. It also doesn't reek of chemicals. And a huge bonus is the bottles are larger than most store brand colors. I used to have to buy 4 boxes of other brands and with this I buy 2 (I have long and thick hair). As long as they make this I'll use it!

I tried Olia with pretty high hopes because I am a fan of your nutrisse products. I chose light intense auburn which is a color similar to what I normally choose in nutrisse.
First, the pros: I covered my entire head (untreated with color) with no problems, as I have been coloring my own hair for years. The smell of the dye was great and didn't burn my eyes in the process. It also took only one coloring kit to cover my whole head of long hair, when usually I need two!
Now the cons: When it came to discovering the color after rinsing it out, I was shocked. It was far from the color on the box and it did not take in several spots, even though I thoroughly applied it everywhere. The color washed out of my hairline and there were patches of my natural color and a mix of my natural and the Olia color spread all throughout my hair. It was very disappointing and I do not want to ruin my hair so I have to just wait this one out. Another drawback is that even after 6 separate washings with harsh shampoo it was still bleeding out bright red in the shower and it hardly faded even with dawn. It made me really sad, so needless to say I will be going back to using the nutrisse system.

Medium Rose Gold

I find the color is subtle and has a shine that doesn't wash out
Hi Dach3224! Thank you for taking the opportunity to try Olia, 8.22-Medium Rose Gold. We appreciate you sharing the hair color you applied this to, and that you did not get the vibrant color results you expected. This shade is recommended for natural hair that is light brown to light blonde. A level 10 bleached hair is far too light to achieve the results. We appreciate your feedback and will be sharing it with others in our company.

So sad this is no longer available
I used this Medium Royal Amethyst for the last 5 years and constantly got compliments from strangers wherever I went. It goes on dark but fades to the perfect shade of purple after a week or so and I absolutely loved it. It seems to have been discontinued and I cannot find a replacement I like as much. I contacted Garnier about a year ago and they told me it wasn't discontinued, just not available at that time...I am still waiting.
It's easy to apply, has excellent gray coverage, and brings such shine to my hair. It immediately softened my face with just a touch of pink. Reminds me of a pink champagne. I always used champagne in the past. I love the pink touch and other products made the pink way too dark and too obvious. I'm going to purchase this and mix it with the rose gold quartz because both colors are beautiful and the quartz seems a bit darker than I like, but mixing it with the medium rose gold just for kicks. At any rate, it's my favorite product ever!
it looked pretty nice, bu i wasnt expecting it to lighten my hair, because it said no bleaching. i am curious as to what lightens the hair then? ,y hair is a natural medium brown/auburn colr and it lightened my hair about two shades. very little pink hue though.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love this color!

Love this color! Please bring it back! It’s the only color I use!
I absolutely love this! can't believe I had such a great result spending so little ( less than $10)
I had about 10 inches of natural hair without any chemicals and then the rest was bleached (very blond). the bleached part looks amazing! the color is very intense. the natural portion of my hair didnt take the "pink" color but still I love the results!!!
A: Hi Anne3618! Thank you for your interest in Olia, 7.45-Dark Fire Ruby. To achieve this color result, your hair must be naturally medium brown, light brown, dark blonde or medium blonde. Bleached hair will not achieve the desired result. You can mix two shades; however, your color results will vary, and red fades quickly when used over bleached hair!

Q: I'm almost 100% Silvery grey will this be a good option for me or do I have to bleach first?
A: Hello BP88 ! Thank you for your interest in using 7.45 - Dark Fire Ruby . This color is best for anyone with natural hair between medium blonde and brown. On lighter hair or sliver gray, the results will be more intense and brighter. Definitely no need to bleach!

Q: Will this work on bleached hair?
I am planning on bleaching my currently dyed hair with a garnier bleach prior to applying this.
A: Hi Eve21, Yes you can use Olia 7.45 over bleached hair, however a strand test is suggested before you commit to coloring your whole head of hair. Thanks for your interest in Garnier!

Q: why has my hair color starting to fade within one wash
A: Hi poochi! Thank you for sharing that Olia Bold, 10.11-Lightest Silver Blonde, is starting to fade after one wash. Exposure to sun, pollution, salt-water, chlorine treated pools, permanent waves, blow-drying, hair straighteners, and frequent shampoos can cause artificial color to fade.
It may be necessary for you to apply your haircolor every three to four weeks to maintain the desired shade. Apply the color to your hair following the instructions for a touch-up application. This is important because if the haircolor mixture is always applied to the whole head for the full processing time, the hair that has been lightened will become over-lightened, which will also cause fading.

Q: Would this be able to go over a faded dark blue color to tone it and get it back to brown? Also if I added a red booster in it would it results in a reddish brown afterwards instead of a normal brown?
A: Hi there! We do not recommend mixing shades of our 7.45 - Dark Fire Ruby. Many of ourvibrant shades are not recommended to tone down blue hair as the gray may see a more vibrant result than the rest of the hair.
