Product Information: SkinActive Erase It All Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Balm

Erase the day with Erase It All Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Balm—an oil-based solid balm that melts into a milky lather to dissolve makeup and sunscreen without a greasy finish. This 3-in-1 balm.

• Eliminates waterproof mascara, longwear foundation, SPF residue, and impurities.
• Uses hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) to attract and retain moisture for up to 24 hours, leaving skin looking replumped.
• Doubles as a 10-minute hyaluronic acid face mask for an extra moisture boost.

Suitable for all skin types—including sensitive and acne prone—this non-comedogenic balm has a buttery, melt-away texture that rinses clean with no greasy finish. Fragrance-free, sulfate-free, and silicone-free. Dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested.

What is hyaluronic acid? A moisture-binding molecule (sodium hyaluronate) that draws water to the skin to help visibly replump and support the hydration barrier.

How to Use SkinActive Erase It All Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Balm

As a daily cleanse (AM/PM): On dry skin, massage a small scoop in circular motions over face, eyes, and lips to melt makeup and SPF. Wet fingertips to emulsify into a milky lather, then rinse with warm water.
As a hyaluronic acid face mask: Two to three times per week, apply a generous layer to clean, dry skin and leave on for 10 minutes for an extra moisture boost; rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For double cleansing (especially after heavy/waterproof makeup, sunscreen, or for oily/acne-prone skin): Cleanse first with Erase It All Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Balm, then follow with your favorite Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to lift any remaining impurities.

After rinsing, always gently pat your skin dry with a soft microfiber towel or cotton washcloth. If using a hyaluronic acid serum for sensitive skin or niacinamide, apply immediately after cleansing while skin is slightly damp, then seal with moisturizer.

Key ingredients and why they’re here: Sodium Hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) to attract moisture; Shea Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil to dissolve makeup; Tocopherol (Vitamin E) as an antioxidant.

Not impressed

I was really excited to try this, but my expectations turned out to be too high. The reason I gave this 2 stars is because it did remove my makeup well, did not burn my eyes, and there is a lot of product for the price. However, I will not be repurchasing this due to the horrible chemical smell, the lumpy/clumpy-ness of the product, and it is so hard to rinse off. I have used many cleansing balms, and this one is the only one I have had this hard of a time rinsing off. Once you emulsify it with water per the directions, it turns VERY waxy and does not want to come off. I end up having to use a washcloth to remove it which is more irritating for my sensitive skin. I would say as a cleansing balm, the ability for it to emulsify is very poor. A lot of the reviews are raving about this product, but I genuinely think you are better off finding something else. I never leave reviews either, this was bad enough that I felt compelled to write one.

Awful. I have burns all over my face. It’s itchy and patchy. I switched all of my make up and brushes and realized the one thing I didn’t change was this product. Would not recommend.

Not good

Just an awful product. Doesn’t work well. The scent is off putting, the texture isn’t as smooth as I’d like, and it leaves a weird film on my skin. Overall I do not recommend this product.

An extra step

I don’t normally use a cleansing balm. This product did effectively remove my makeup. After using I did wash with my normal cleanser. Overall it’s just an extra step for me as my regular cleanser generally removes ,y makeup well.

Hello nicolec474. thank you for sharing your experience with the Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Hyaluronic Acid. We are pleased to hear it worked well removing your makeup, we're just sorry to hear it didn't cleanse as fully as you were hoping for. Ideal for dry and sensitive skin, this may work better as part of a double cleanse for those with less dry skin. This cleanser has a firm texture that becomes a milky, soothing cleanser when water is added to the face. It soothes and hydrates without stripping the skin. Works to gently cleanse to quickly remove dirt, impurities, SPF, and makeup.

I was very turned off by this product because of the scent and the texture. It wasn’t creamy like other cleansing balms I’ve used and I just didn’t like the way it felt on my skin.

Hello lisal91, we appreciate hearing your experience with the Erase It All Makeup Cleansing Balm with Hyaluronic Acid. We wish the solid balm texture and fragrance better suited your preferences. To use, massage a generous amount of balm into dry skin using circular motions. Add water to create a milky lather, and rinse clean with warm water.
