New Formula is Awful

The new formula for this is absolutely terrible. My hair was completely dried out and breaking after 3 days of using it. I will be switching to a new brand - please bring back the old formula! I’ve been using it for over 10 years and I’m heartbroken it’s been replaced with a completely ineffective version.

Changed the formula from awesome to AWFUL!

I have tight, naturally curly hair that runs dry. The yellow bottles of Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner were the ONLY products that made my hair shiny and soft with well formed curls that would last for 2 days. No matter how many times I'd decide to try something new and different, I'd immediately go back to Triple Nutrition becausenothing else performed anything like it. However, just like every other product I've ever loved, Garnier went and changed the formula! The new version in the green bottles doesn't function the same for my hair AT ALL! 😭 It also doesnt smell as good either! WHYYYY?! "If it's not broken, don't "fix" it!" Bring back the original formula!

Terrible Reformulation-You Lost another Customer

Apparently I am one of many people who feel the new formulation of this previously exceptional product is unusable. Why would you take a product, completely change the formula, scent, description, and quality, and try to pass it off with the same name as the previous (beloved and well-regarded) product? I was so disappointed when I could no longer find my daily go-to formula in the gold bottle (I used both the shampoo and conditioner). I was sent the 'new' green bottled formula when I was trying to purchase the previous one. I did try it several times, and with each use, I hated it more. The scent is terrible. It did not moisturize my hair at all (a pretty important detail for a 'very dry hair' product). It also left a weird coating on my hair that caused terrible flatness, The old product promised '3x moisture, no weighdown' and absolutely delivered. My long, thick, dry hair was healthy and moisturized, but not flat, for the many years I used it. This new formula promises hair is 'visibly smoother and glowing, with no greasy feel'. But what does that have to do with nourishing your hair? I'm not sure what the reason for the reformulation was, but it certainly isn't new and improved. I have spent months looking for leftovers of the previous formula with very little success, and I can't even give away the new bottle. Feel free to let me know if you restore the formula that actually did provide the hair care experience that was promised. Until then, you have lost me as a customer.

New formula not the same

I have used triple nutrition for over 10 years. I have very fine dry hair which I wash daily due to running and other activities. The new formula is not the same with different or missing ingredients. It dried my hair out within 3 days of use. I am posting this to encourage others with this problem to switch to whole blends honey repair shampoo and condition. Please do not change this formula. It is a perfect replacement and smells wonderful. I plan to use it going forward.

PLEASE give us back the old formula/scent profile

I’ve been using this conditioner for like 8 years but the new scent is god-awful and migraine inducing. After months of gritting my teeth with the two huge bottles I bought thinking only the packaging had changed, I somehow stumbled upon the old yellow-bottled formula at my grocery store tonight and bought as many as possible because I’m seriously losing my mind with the new smell. I’m really disappointed that after this little cache I’ve created runs out I’m gonna need to find a new conditioner since the triple nutrition was Perfect for keeping my bleached/dyed hair somewhat healthy. I literally wouldn’t mind the formula change if it weren’t for the overly floral, smack-you-in-the-face scent it’s got now. Please give us the old scent back!!

This conditionner hydrate your hair without and makes them feel smooth, but not oily.
Also, it smells good, it's affordable and I like that it's infused with 3 oils.

I have healthy, natural afro-textured hair. I do not use heat tools (blow dryer, flat/curling irons) on my hair. I have been searching for a paraben free, moisturizing conditioner. When I read that this product is for very dry hair, I figured that it will probably work for my hair texture. The conditioner softened my hair as I used a wide tooth comb to detangle. I am highly satisfied with this product.

I’ve been using the triple nutrition conditioner for years and years and have always loved the scent and the effect on my hair. The new scent is HORRIBLE, very strong coconut smell that is awful. Please bring back the old scent and formula. I’m now going to have to find another brand to use.

NEW FORMULA Triple Nutrition Conditioner HORRIBLE

I have used the Triple Nutrition Conditioner for many years and always LOVED both the product and the results! Yesterday I tried the new formula as that is now all that is available. IT IS HORRIBLE! Both the smell and the product are so bad that I threw it out after one use! I will never buy this again. I will see if I can find any of the old product on store shelves and if not, I will switch to another company's product.

Overwhelming Purfumy Scent

I've been getting the Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioners on and off for a couple years and had always liked them, however with the formula change the scent of them have changed drastically and are honestly kind of overwhelming, even after I've rinsed them out. My scalp also seems dryer than it usually is after using the new one. Not sure I'm going to continue to use the new formula.

I have used this product for several years and it has kept my thick hair soft and in great shape. My hairdresser has even asked what kind of product I use on my hair. The hard thing for me is finding product that will not cause breakouts, and this is the one. Only bad thing I can say is I can't find it in travel size!!

Conditioner that actually works for dry thick hair

I’ve never actually written a review for a product before, but I love this conditioner so much I felt I had to! My thick, dry hair really responds to this hair care line. It is noticeable softer, shinier, and more manageable. I actually really love the way it feels. I tried all kinds of conditioner before this, both moderately priced and expensive. None of them worked as well as this conditioner for my hair, and it is so affordable. If your hair has lots of body but lacks shine and moisture, you will love this conditioner. After the first week using it, I threw away all my other conditioners. My husband is even using it now!

Soft and manageable hair for days!

This Garnier Fructis conditioner blew my mind! I have long, straight, and dry hair with split ends. On a daily basis, I'm styling my hair with a flat iron and blow dryer. So that takes a toll on my hair. After using the conditioner a couple of times, I've definitely notice a big difference! My hair felt so silky and moisturized! It even felt soft after blow drying my hair! Sometimes conditioners can make your hair feel soft in the shower, but after you blow dry it, it feels like the moisture was sucked out of your hair! But not this conditioner!! Even with all the moisture, my hair felt more manageable and my ends were well conditioned without feeling weighed down. The consistency of the conditioner is creamy and it goes on nice. The scent is amazing!! It smells fruity but not too strong where it's overwhelming. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product! It's budget friendly and gets the job done!

This conditioner has a nice smell, and is lightweight, but that’s all I really have to say when it comes to positives. During application, I had to use at least twice the amount I normally do, because the conditioner clumped pieces of my hair together. I think the worst part of this experience is that my hair became straw-like and frizzy after using this product in addition to the shampoo. For days, I felt like I needed to dump lotion on my hair to make it feel properly moisturized. I don’t think this would be a bad product if the formula was adjusted properly. I didn’t notice a huge difference between the conditioner and the shampoo, other than the fact that the conditioner is much creamier.

This conditioner worked great for my hair. My hair gets very tangled and knotted. After using this I could easily run a brush through my hair. I feel consistent use of this will help the overall health of my hair. So glad I tried this product! It’s a relief to not have all that tangled hair anymore after a shower!

This creamy conditioner goes on so nice! It's actually easy to use too much on accident. It goes on smooth and soaks into your hair without feeling heavy, and it works great in conjunction with the shampoo! Overall my hair came out feeling soft, silky, and nice and smooth.

This is a great conditioner. I have been using Garnier for years, and have never experienced a bad product from them. I have long, thin, wavy hair. It is thick, but my hair strands are thin. I need a conditioner that will nourish my hair, and keep it from drying out. This conditioner definitely accomplishes that! Its so perfect for the fall and winter months. It keeps my hair feeling soft and smooth for multiple days after the initial use. And it does not leave my hair feeling dry at all. The natural oils are so great for your hair and keep it shiny and nourished. This is one of my favorite conditioners!

Meh... Not very impressed

So for me, my conditioner is VERY important! I have long, thick, color treated, and therefore damaged hair. That being said, I'm always willing to try a new brand and don't have loyalty to a specific one yet. I've always been a fan of Garnier, so I was excited to try their Triple Nutrition conditioner. I loved the smell, but, for me i felt like it lacked the "nutrition". After using the entire bottle (which only lasted me about 2 weeks) I noticed my hair wasn't any healthier and in fact, I felt like it was more damaged than before... Wont be buying this one again unfortunately. I would recommend this to someone who has short or fine non damaged hair.

Silky smooth

I'm loving this condition and shampoo. I have thick dry hair because I use to color my hair a lot and would have to bleach it several time to get it to a lighter color. This shampoo and conditioner is like giving life back to my hair. I use to never touch my hair at all but now i like to run my hand through my hair to feel how smooth it is!

If I could give this a zero, I would. Im Puerto Rican, 23 and have long thick wavy-to-curly hair that almost reaches my hiney. I have bleached the bottom half of my hair and the tips of my upper layers and have dyed the rest. Needless to say, I have chemically damaged and dry, frizzy hair. This is supposed to moisturize the hair. Usually I can use a shampoo and conditioner and it'll last a while but I'll have to change it up so my hair isnt "used to it" anymore and my hair will curl again. This didnt even work the first time paired woth its shampoo. It created a huge tangle in my hair and I literally cried trying to fix the mess this thing created in my hair. Usually a consitioner will smoothen out the hair enough to have tangles disappear but this did the exact opposite. I was hesitant to use it again but did it for the purpose of reviewing it. I tried it with another shampoo and it still didnt work but it created less tangles than it did being paired with the shampoo version of this. It didnt provide any moisture whatsoever. My hair literally looked and felt as if I just drenched it woth water and got out. It smells great and it lingers for a couple of days but thats about it. I wouldnt purchase this in the future and I wouldnt suggest this for anyone who has similar hair.

Good for what it says, not much more.

I loved the smell of this product and it seemed to make my hair smoother.
The drawback was that it was thick and I had to use a bunch to get my hair covered.
It also seemed to leave a buildup on my hair after a few uses.
It seems hard to rinse out also, I had to rinse for way longer than my usual shampoo.

I love the Conditioner most of all. It is wonderful to try a paraben free conditioner that leaves my hair feeling soft & shiny. I’m not a huge fan of the scent, but the feel of my hair is well worth it!

Too heavy for my hair

I'm a natural redhead and I have hair that is pretty long and very thick. I thought this would be great since I blow dry my hair almost daily and it's definitely dry and damaged. It made it feel nice right after using the conditioner but once it dried it was weight down and almost greasy looking. I used less and tried to use it separately but it was still too heavy. It smelled great though.

I recently used this conditioner and I love it! It is a thick and creamy formula that really coats the hair and adds moisture! It smells great and leavs my hair feeling silky and smooth! Even my girls love it, they are young girls, and prefer the smell of this to their children's shampoo. It leaves their hair easy to brush and not tangled! I would definatly recommend this to anyone. Great conditioner...

Leaves hair silky smooth!

My hair is extremely dry and even though this conditioner isn't specifically for dandruff it does keep my hair nourished and maintained between using my regular shampoo. Not only does it smell great, it is really good for your hair. It's paraben free and vegan which means it doesn't have a bunch of harmful things in it.

I have natural hair and I have previously used the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner and I loved it! The smell is the same; which is absolutely amazing! I can't get over how moisturized my hair is when I use this conditioner. Being a natural, I have a hard time finding products that provide my hair with the moisture I need! Especially since fall is upon us-the cooler air makes my hair really dry. The natural oils in this conditioner make this such a great product. I also enjoy that this conditioner is paraben-free with a vegan formula. This product is something I recommend to anyone who suffers from dry to brittle hair. You will not be disappointed!!

I think this is a great product! After using it for 2 weeks, it's done wonders for my hair! My hair looks noticeably healthier, smells AMAZING, and is actually less prone to snarls (coming from someone who wears messy buns- this is great!) I would definitely recommend to anyone! Plus the price is great!

Triple Nutrition Conditioner - Reccomend

I really like this conditioner - it smells great and is not overpowering. It's available pretty much everywhere and super affordable. I have been struggling with dry damaged hair and really needed a conditioner to restore some nutrition back into my hair and I am finally seeing results with this conditioner. My hair feels so much healthier, and the ends don't look as damaged anymore.
