Instructions of Use

Everything you need is inside the box. Read the leaflet and follow all safety instructions before you begin. 

Step 1: Prep
• Separate hair into sections with clips.
• Put on the gloves, twist off the tip of the Curl Caring Developer Bottle, and discard. 
• Remove the applicator cap from the bottle. 
• Unscrew the top of the Curl Glazing Color Bottle and pour into the Developer Bottle. 
• Tightly recap the Developer Bottle and shake well holding a gloved finger over the tip.

Step 2: Color
• Apply the color mixture to dry, detangled hair. Work section by section starting at the roots: make ¼-inch parts to fully saturate color evenly on roots.
• Apply remaining mixture through the mid-lengths and ends until hair is saturated. If mixture gets on skin, rinse immediately with cool water.
• Set a timer for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse & Condition
• When the time is up, use gloved hands to massage a little water through hair to create a lather. 
• Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. 
• Squeeze out excess water from hair. 
• Apply the Curl Moisturizing Conditioner and leave on for 2-5 minutes, then rinse. 

Step 4: Gloss
• Snap off the tip of the Leave-in Oil Gloss Drop.
• Apply the gloss drop on dry or damp hair: slowly add small drops and comb through from mid-lengths to tips until you achieve the desired result.
• Do not rinse, just style as usual!

  • Plan ahead by getting the right amount of Nutrisse 0% Ammonia Glossy Soft Black Hair Color: For long and/or thick hair, you'll need 2–3 boxes and one box is usually enough for short, shoulder-length thin hair. Refer to the box quantity guide for exact recommendations. If you don’t use all the boxes, you can save the extras for future applications.
  • Nutrisse 0% Ammonia Glossy Soft Black CR2 is specially designed to care for curls. As with all permanent hair color, aftercare is important. To maintain moisture and vibrancy, use the curl-moisturizing conditioner infused with nourishing vegan ingredients for 11x more moisture, and the curl-enhancing leave-in gloss shot infused with vitamin E for 3x shinier, glossier curls, both included in the kit. Once you’ve finished the included conditioner, we suggest using the Curl Nourish line, especially our curl-loving conditioner.
  • After applying Glossy Soft Black CR2 shade, it’s recommended to wait 48 hours before swimming, staying out in the sun, or using hot tools. This gives your color time to set in and cure for the best results. After that, be sure to always use a heat protectant when heat styling. To help preserve your color, consider wearing a sun hat, bandana, or using a sun umbrella when outdoors. This will help keep your color looking vibrant and fresh.
