I know this shampoo says it's geared towards normal to oily hair. I have medium thick 3b curls and I think this shampoo is great and doesn't strip my hair at all! I use along with the matching conditioner. My curls feel very moisturized using the Pure clean collection. I was told not to use this but I think you'd have to experiment to see for yourself, not everyone's hair is the same. I tried this because it's silicone free and don't like my hair weighed down and aloe vera is my favorite ingredient for my hair. I really like this!!!

I agree with the reviews. - I wanted a purifying to counteract yellowing I get on my white/silver hair. Purifying shapoos can sometimes leave hair dry, but this leaves my hair with a residue that won't rinse out - greasy, hair left flat, and scalp is suddenly flaky. I have never reviewed a shampoo, but this deserved the time to warn anyone considering to purchase that it it the opposite of purifying! I want my money back.

This is great shampoo! I usually buy much more expensive shampoos only to be very disappointed, and I think I have tried them all. I did purchase this on a whim and very happy I did so. I have very highlighted hair that tends to be frizzy, especially during summer months. I started using this shampoo and it makes my frizzy hair very soft, blows dry perfectly, looks and feels clean and smooth. Wish it were sulfate free but doesn't change my mind about using it. I'm not sure what everyone is being negative about as if anyone has crazy, Unruly, hard to deal with hair, it is me. I can't say enough good about this shampoo. Thank you!

Great shampoo for those with scalps on oilier side

This is my go-to shampoo. I have very wavy/slight curly hair with semi-oily scalp. I wash every other day. I do use a good conditioner afterwards. For me, this shampoo is gentle and doesn't over-strip my hair. The light scent is do refreshing. I love this shampoo!!

I was really disappointed in my hair after bleaching it,I didn’t think anything would bring it back to life .I tried masks and nothing ! Then I came across the “garnier pure & clean” & I really couldn’t believe it,it left my hair feeling so soft & shiny after just one wash!!!! I wouldn’t sleep on this shampoo it really works wonders on your hair ❤️

I love this shampoo! It always leaves my hair so hydrated. I have fine 2C waves/curls and after washing with this shampoo (I don't follow up with a conditioner) I use Garnier's protein spray (the Sleek & Shine 10-in-1) and it leaves me with the most gorgeous waves! That's without my usual spray gel too, say what?!
I'm assuming it's the aloe that leaves a residue on my hair, but after letting my hair completely dry it feels great (not to mention my scalp stopped itching). Because it's so moisturizing and my hair is fine/easily weighed down, it's important to me to clarify at least once a week minimum to remove the buildup. I clarify with Pantene's volume shampoo (it really strips my hair) followed by this Garnier shampoo to bring back some moisture. It's a win for me!

I have short, fine hair. A couple of years ago I stopped using high end shampoo/conditioner from ULTA b/c I was having problems with my hair and wanted something gentle. Immediately, my hair felt so clean and soft. Over time my hair became healthy again. It continues to keep it healthy and my husband now uses it too! PLEASE don’t ever discontinue, lol!!

If I could I would give a -10 stars, this is the worst product I bought my whole life, I had literally ripped my hair off with the brush or I was going to have to cut it, It made is so tangled that was impossible to brush, really bad knots brush could not handle so I had to rip off some of my hair, I'm so mad at buying this product, Horrible, Horrible, this should not be called conditioner, it should be hair ripper or tangler. made my hair so dry and unable to brush off knots, also I system is not letting me upload pictures of my hair and product.
