Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Finishing Paste

I don't use this as much on dry hair, but rather wet hair prior to blow drying. I have shoulder length fine hair, but a lot of it. A quarter size of this rubbed between the palms of your hand to warm it and I rake it through my wet hair and try to get some down into the root area and then proceed to blow dry. I get nice full volume, a very defined and smooth blow-out and it holds my hair in place. Nothing worse than blow drying your hair into a nice style only to have it droop and go limp. Not with this paste. It holds the style in place. Not sticky, not crunchy or stiff. Just nice flexible hold which is what I need. And it adds a little shine and smells clean. This is game changing stuff.

The Pure Clean Finishing Paste used to be a great product. I've been using this product for more than 5 years and recently I've found it to be making my hair extremely oily. To my surprise, I hadn't realised the formula had changed. My daughter always picks this up for me from work, as she works in a big chain pharmacy that carries it, so I don't really pay much attention to it, I did notice the packaging had changed, but not the formula. Unfortunately, Garnier has added aloe to this product which makes it extremely greasy. I was in grocery store recently that still had some of the old product and I bought some, what a huge difference, no more oily hair. It seems everything these days has some type of oil or aloe added to it, not everyone wants or needs the added oil. Garnier, please remove the aloe as those of us with oily skin/hair don't need the added oils. Or make 2 products, one with aloe and one without. I'm extremely disappointed as I don't know what I will use to style my hair after the older version i bought recently runs out.
