This product will lighten naturally darkest brown hair but it does not have the strength to lighten dark color treated hair to the color it shows on the box. If you have a brown color in your hair and you want to get very light blonde, you will have to strip the dark haircolor out of your hair first.

R: Hi SxiGrama, HOW TO USE Applying Nutrisse: Nourished Hair means Better Color Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color nourishes while it colors with a rich, non drip creme formula, and with an ampoule of grape seed oil, it smells great while you apply. Follow this step-by-step process when applying color at home: PREP & MIX: 1) Always do a skin test 48 hours before. 2) Apply to dry, unwashed and detangled hair. 3) Apply gloves, squeeze colorant (tube b) into developer bottle (a). 4) Remove flat cap from Creme Developer Bottle. 5) Shade Bleaching Powder to loosen content and pour into Developer Bottle. 6) Screw flat cap onto Developer bottle. Point bottle away from face and shake well. 7) Remove cap of Lightening Creme and squeeze content into Developer Bottle. Screw flat cap onto Developer Bottle and shake well. 8) Immediately remove flat cap once the bleach mixture is creamy. Discard flat cap and replace with pointed applicator cap. Twist off the tip of the pointed applicator cap. CAUTION: Always shake Developer bottle with the flat cap on for optimal mixing results. Never leave flat cap on after mixing is complete. The container may burst. Never leave tip of the applicator cap unopened after mixing. The container may burst. ALL OVER APPLICATION WHEN YOU NEVER BLEACHED YOUR HAIR: LIGHTEN LENGTHS FIRST 1) Beginning 1 inch below root area, spread mixture evenly through mid-lengths and ends. 2) Leave mixture on for 20-30 minutes. 3) Save some lightening mixture for root area. LIGHTEN ROOTS 4) Apply remaining mixture to root area and saturate completely. 5) Leave on for an additional 20 minutes. Total timing should not exceed 60 minutes PRO TIP 1: work in sections so you don't miss a spot. PRO TIP 2: after applying and timing, wipe away a small amount o mixture to check your roots. If you want to go lighter, reapply and leave for 5 more minutes. Repeat as needed. TOUCH-UP APPLICATION FOR PREVIOUSLY BLEACHED HAIR: 1) Apply to new growth only. Making 1/4 inch parts with the applicator tip. 2) Repeat until all roots are saturated. Thick coating should be visible and evenly distributed throughout regrowth areas. 3) Leave mixture on for 30-60 minutes according to your lightening preview test. Total timing should not exceed 60 minutes RINSE & CONDITION: 1) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear. 2) Apply Fortifying Anti-Brass Conditioner and leave on for five minutes, then rinse thoroughly. 3) Save some Fortifying Anti-Brass Conditioner to keep hair strong, healthy, and control brass 1-2 weeks after application. The Ultra Color Charcoal Bleach PL3 Ultra Cool Platinum is our most dramatic lightening kit and is best for anyone with natural light brown to very dark hair. Unfortunately, dyed hair is much harder to lighten than natural hair. No hair dye is strong enough to lighten dyed hair.
