Because of this, we do not recommend B4 for hair that has been previously colored medium brown or darker. Application: Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Always do a skin test 48 hours before
Step 2: Apply to dry, unwashed hair. Put on gloves and wrap shoulders in an old towel.
Step 3: Squeeze ampoule and colorant into developer bottle
Step 4: Break off the tip, hold finger over opening, and shake bottle for 30 seconds
Step 5: Apply

All-over color:
• Apply color at the roots, then move down through the lengths
• Extend color through the ends, and massage into hair
• Leave on for 30 minutes (35 minutes for lots of gray/coarse hair)

Root touchup:
• Apply color at the roots
• Leave on for 20 minutes (25 minutes for lots of gray/coarse hair)
• Comb through lengths and ends and wait another 5-10 minutes

Step 6: Massage hair thoroughly before rinsing
Step 7: Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear
Step 8: Apply after-color conditioner and leave on for 2-3 minutes
Step 9: Rinse thoroughly
Step 10: Recommended: Wait 24-48 hours before shampooing
