What do women with perfect skin always do?

Beautiful, flawless skin is one of the most desirable beauty traits. Who doesn’t want to look into the mirror and see a face free of blemishes, blotchiness or dark spots? We all know women that have absolutely perfect skin but how do they do it? With ten steps we’ll walk you through how to ensure you have the best beauty habits in place to help your skin look incredible every day. You’ll no longer envy other women’s skin — in fact, your skin will be enviable.

1. Find The Right Cleanser For You

You should be cleansing your skin every morning and every night. Cleansers can vary greatly by skin type so make sure to use one that works for your skin type. For dry and sensitive skin you should use a cream-based cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin. Ideally it should be paraben and fragrance-free. Oily skin can benefit from an oil-regulating refreshing cleanser formulated with salicylic acid.

2. Exfoliate

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells from skin’s surface and reveals new fresh skin. It also primes your skin to better receive your other skin care products. Try to exfoliate at least once a week.

3. Moisturize Correctly

It’s very important to moisturize, without it your skin can look dry or even become flaky. Find the right moisturizer for your skin type in daily-face-moisturizers-101

4. Hydrate

Like we said in step 3 moisturizing and hydrating is key to improving your skin’s appearance so it’s important to apply moisturizer to your skin but to also hydrate your body. Remember to always drink enough water throughout the day and incorporate a green juice or antioxidant rich fruit juice to give your skin a boost.

5. Have A Good Diet

Maintaining a diet filled with vegetables, fruit and lean protein is important . Consuming antioxidant-rich leafy greens, citrus fruits, berries and fish can help your skin’s appearance to make it look its best.

6. Exercise

Aside from having great health benefits, exercise can also leave a mark on your skin. The boost in your circulation increases blood flow to your skin and keeps it looking young. Find out which type of exercise suits you best and try to break a sweat each week.

7. Use SPF Religiously

Nothing causes more damage to your skin than sun exposure. Make sure that you are wearing SPF every single day rain or shine. You will help prevent premature skin aging and skin imperfections such as dark spots and fine lines from appearing. Aim to use broad spectrum SPF 15 or higher and apply every morning before you go about your day. If you are in a sunny location reapply throughout the day.

8. Serum

Serums are supercharged formulas with antioxidants and other skin-health boosting ingredients. Use after cleansing and exfoliating so they can work best on your skin and deliver the best results.

9. Don't Pick At Your Face

Touching your face can add oil and dirt which is a breeding ground for blemishes. Even worse, popping pimples can damage your skin’s surface. Keep your fingers off your face unless they are clean and you are performing a skin care ritual. Otherwise avoid touching it altogether!

10. Get Good Sleep

Your body recharges in your sleep. It’s also when your skin has its peak cell turnover. Try to aim for at least seven hours of sleep at night to feel and look your best. It’s also important to sleep on a clean pillowcase, ideally a silk one which removes less moisture from your skin than cotton. Lastly consider your sleep position as well. Sleeping on your side can cause creasing on your face as you are pressing it into the pillowcase. Sleeping on your stomach can cause under eye puffiness as the fluid can accumulate under your eyes. Sleeping on your back is best.
