Is This Shade Right For Me?
Shade 400 is best for anyone with natural hair between light brown and black, or a full head of white/gray hair.
For anyone who currently has color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 400 for hair that has been previously colored 20 Soft Black (Black Tea) or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the shade for you!
About Nutrisse Ultra Coverage
Nutrisse Ultra Coverage is the first at-home hair color with CoverPlus Technology, specifically formulated to provide 100% coverage on hard-to-cover, ultra-resistant grays. Deep, neutral pigments penetrate the hair fibers while balanced reflects mimic a natural tone. The kit comes with an ampoule of grape seed oil that nourishes your hair while you color. Ultra Coverage's non-drip formula allows for easy application, while the after-color conditioner is infused with five fruit oils—olive, avocado, coconut, argan, and shea—leaving your hair 2x shinier*, silkier, and more nourished.

Instructions of Use
Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color nourishes while it colors with a rich, non-drip creme formula, and an ampoule of grape seed oil that smells great while you apply.
1) Always do a skin test by following the insert instructions in the kit 48 hours before application.
2) Be sure to apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves and squeeze colorant (B) into developer bottle (A).
4) Break off the tip and shake the bottle vigorously.
5) Start applying mixture from roots to ends until hair is saturated.
6) Leave formula on for 25 minutes.
7) Massage hair and rinse until water runs clear.
8) Apply Nourishing Conditioner (D) and leave on for two minutes before rinsing out thoroughly.
Tip: Try using Garnier Micellar Water (Waterproof) to remove hair color stains.
