Our 1st oil powered permanent haircolor for brilliant color and visibly healthier hair.

The oil powered technology propels colorants deep into the hair, without ammonia, giving you pure, vivid, long-lasting color. Olia visibly improves and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, long-lasting color. Hair is Hydrated, Silky and up to 3X Shinier than unwashed, uncolored hair.

How is Olia different?
Unlike traditional haircolor, Olia uses an exclusive 60% oil blend with natural flower oils to achieve brilliant, radiant color results. The unique non-drip velvet cream formula propels colorants into the hair--without ammonia--with a pleasant sensorial fragrance.

Is this shade right for me?
Garnier Olia shade 7.0, "Dark Blonde," is a natural, dark blonde shade without other reflects, and will allow your natural tones to show through. Shade 7.0 will provide 100% gray coverage and is best for anyone with natural hair between medium blonde and medium brown.

If you would like to try a lighter shade that still reflects naturally, shade 8.0 might be for you.

*For women with currently color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 7.0 for hair that has been previously colored shade 5.0, "Medium Brown," or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the perfect shade for you!

How to use:

Applying Olia: A Sensorial Experience
Olia transforms coloring your hair into a new sensorial experience. Because Olia is ammonia-free, it won't irritate your scalp and there is no harsh ammonia smell. Instead, Olia has a delicate floral scent. And, its non-drip, velvety cream texture helps provide optimal comfort during application.

Follow this step-by-step process when applying color at home:

1) Always do a skin test 48 hours before.
2) Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves, snap off tip and remove the cap of the Developer Bottle and add Colorant.
4) Shake the bottle vigorously to mix.
5) Start applying color at the roots, then away from roots to the tips.
6) Extend color through to the ends and massage into hair.
7) Leave formula on for 30 minutes.
8) Massage hair thoroughly before rinsing to optimize rinsing process.
9) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
10) Apply conditioner after color and leave on for two minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly Disappointed I always use the Garnier Nutrisse & have always been satisfied. I decided to try the Garnier Olia & was highly disappointed. The box & online says it is 100% gray coverage & that is not the case at all. I used 2 boxes to make sure my hair was covered. Color is not as vibrant & the gloves are terrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is the first time I tried Olia Buttercream 7. I usually purchase a different brand of hair color. I noticed this was marked a lower price, so I tried it. The downside is my hair is medium thick and shoulder length, I needed to add water for an all over coverage. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating and not 5. I am really happy with the results so far. My hair feels and looks soft and has beautiful body. I don't have the peroxide smell. I am overall very content.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best I've ever used I've been using for about 2 yrs. I selected wrong color 1st time & even the 7.0 is a touch darker than I prefer. But after a few weeks it lightens & lightens evenly so I only have to use 2 to 3 times a year. It also makes my hair feel & look soft & covers grey completely.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy! I bought this to lighten up my hair a little for summer. Followed directions and the color from the side of the box did not look anything like my hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle, nonirritating I bought Olia 7.0 for the first time this week (March 2018). I normally used Garnier Nutrisse 70. The 1st thing I noted was the formula feels great, no irritation. My natural color is salt & pepper and the coverage was pretty good. My hair has been colored for over 20 yrs, so on the dry side. Hoping the oils formula will help overtime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite hair color by far I read about Olia in a magazine while sitting in a doctor's office. I thought I'd give it a try. I have a lot of gray hair growing in at 63 y/o. Have been using 7.0 for over 2 years now and I love the way it leaves my hair feeling so very soft and the color covers my gray very well. There is absolutely no smell and it is easy to mix and apply. If there were a little more in the bottle I would give it five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gentle color I was skeptical about this product but I finally gave it a go and I’m so glad I did. The 7.0 is a very natural color, and the Olia did a great job of leaving my hair feel moisturized and pampered. The only downside was that it smelled a bit perfumey at first but one wash and that is fixed. For the color and the way it makes my hair feel I think I’ll be with this for the long haul!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best home Blonde I have ever used Finally, a nice system that colors my hair completely. I have fine blonde hair that is often bleached. However, I go through times where I don't want white hair, and I just want to take care of my hair myself. I am SO pleased with color, packaging, smell, price, everything! Hope this color stays around, so I can use it for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FEEDBACK ON NEW PACKAGING I have been using this product since it hit the market and absolutely love it! Just wanted to give feedback on it's new packaging. Putting the developer in the application bottle was great, but putting the conditioner in a plastic bottle.....not so good. It's difficult to get out and I'm unable to take advantage of it's entire content. Leaving it in the tube was much better and I was able to use every drop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely natural looking shade After spending a lot of money at a salon for hair color I touch up my roots at home to save money between visits. Have tried most of the home color products but Olia is the best by far at making my hair look silky after color instead of fried. This shade, 7.0, is a lovely color that is not brassy yet has enough oomph to give my hair some life. It's hard to find a truly natural shade but this one is as close to my color of a few years ago that I can find. Love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dark reddish color I liked the dark neutral blonde which is discontinued and it covered my gray roots nicely. Even though I only applied this dark blonde to the roots it colored all my hair and made it reddish/brassy. Wonder why they discontinued the dark neutral blonde?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice color, bad consistency I'm not a fan of the consistency of the olia hair dye. It's lotiony and slippery and hard to work through your entire head unlike cream or liquid dye. I had a field day trying to cover my new growth and still ended up missing a bunch of spots. On the plus side the color that did end up sticking to my hair came out a nice sandy blonde color with no brass. I am going to try the Nutrisse version of this to see if it works better at covering roots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from trying to get the red out of my hair. I colored my hair before with the #63 light golden brown. My hair was a little darker then that, so I'm trying to go lighter a little bit each time. I just used the Olia 7 dark blonde. I like the product but it didn't seem to cover my gray as much. Mainly, I want to get this red out of my hair and I don't think this is working to get the red out. Have you any suggestions?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it more than Fructis 7.0 Dark Blonde 4/23/17 Dark blonde #7.0 I waited to submit my review until after a couple weeks to see how it lasted in our harsh water. I give it a 4 star for now, because very few products I ever try are as spectacular as a 5 star! LOL BUT I DO love the Olia much more than Fructis. Love the lack of stench with this dye!!! I was surprised it didn't have ANY ammonia smell for me - and my nose is sensitive!!! It went in fairly easily, but not sure I like the big bulby bottle. It is hard to hold in my hands and I have pretty big hands for a woman. LOL Plus, It is kind of thick plastic and doesn’t squeeze as easily as other bottles, it is also kind of large for the amount of dye inside. Not sure why it is so big. I think it would be easier to squeeze if it were thinner in structure as well as thinner plastic. It gave me a slightly lighter dark blonde than the Fructis 70 does, which is perfect for me for right now because I am trying to lighten my hair for spring/summer and trying to hide my white roots better! OMG did they get white this winter!!!! LOL I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way my hair feels so awesomely soft after the rinse and conditioner. The conditioner in this dye repaired some of the damage my hair suffered this past couple motnhs from a blowdryer that’s been running too hot. I was surprised. Still using the conditioner and nursing til my next dye job because I love it!!! This dye also has not caused my scalp to itch or burn while it was “steeping” on my hair. LOL Nor did I itch the next day, which I do with other dyes. How "you" will react, I don't know, but it was the best I have used so far. Now to see how long it lasts on my hair. . . Update: 5/8/17 - Two and a half weeks later - I am actually surprised - the Olia seems to last longer in my hair than the Fructise did. I like the colour still and it hasn’t faded as much. I am going to try it again, but I think this next time I am going to try two boxes to get more root coverage becauase I missed a few spots with the one box. I am also going to go a little lighter for summer. It might also hide my roots for longer (I HOPE!!!!!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Dark Blond! I searched for YEARS for a color that matched my natural hair color and found it. Also, this does not burn my scale or smell horrible. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Hair at last! I went to a professional stylist like clockwork for more than 20 years, bleaching my hair blonde. When my financial situation changed, I very reluctantly decided to start coloring my hair at home. I tried a couple of different blonde shades and liked dark blonde best. Ive used it for a year now and love how healthy my hair is! It is soft and shiny and the color is rich and natural looking. I am now able to afford to go back to my hair stylist, but Im not going to! I'm sticking with Olia! (And, I dont think the bottle is that bad...)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garner 7.0 dark blonde I give this color 5+ stars. The past 2 years I have not had my hair highlighted blonde. I have been trying to go back to my natural color. I also have been getting my hair colored professionally now for 2 years. My hair stylist has been using ecccolor and wella hair colors because I am unable to use anything on my scalp with gluten. I was really getting tired of spending $90 every 6 weeks. So I did it, colored my own hair. First time I used Garnier I colored it with Light Golden brown. It was ok, but didn't like the red it brought out in my hair. However, today I used 7.0 dark blonde. Just love it, it looks like I came out of the salon. Thank you Garnier, and thank you for never adding gluten to your products. I use many of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too dark for blonde I totally love this product. My hair is so soft and shiny. The only complaint I have is that the shade Dark Blonde 7.0 is WAY too dark to consider "blonde". I have dark blonde hair and his color made me look light a light brunette....would highly sugggest going with a lighter blonde shade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this product and I completely love it! I have a honey golden blonde shade naturally but i was looking for something a little darker but nothing too dark and this was the perfect thing i was looking for! I worked great, application was easy, no problems, and my hair looked fantastic afterwards. I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I tried the Garnier Olia 7.0 Dark Blonde on myself. It had some pros and some cons. First I loved that it had no harsh chemical smell at all. Through the entire dying process I enjoyed the smell. However I didn't like the bottle, it was almost hard to hold. I also didn't love the color. It came out much darker then expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible color result! I have used many brands of hair dye. Garnier Olia Dark Blonde 7.0 was the absolute WORST. I had light blonde hair and used this hoping to get a darker, more natural blonde. My result was a medium army GREEN color. What?? Never again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This was my first time using GARNIER product. I love the color, feel, and shine. Definitely won't be going back to my old brand. The old thing I didn't like was the application bottle. It has an odd shape and slips easily out of my hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My friend Amy used the Dark blonde. It covered up her old hair color and grays pretty well, but she wasn't necessarily pleased with the color it turned out. It wasn't dark enough for her liking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great color and covered the small amount of grey i have sprinkled in my naturally dirty blonde hair. This is a new way to color hair and I liked the use of oil versus all the chemicals in other products. I found it a little more complex than the mousse but bad just different. I did feel like it when farther than the average box does. I usually have to buy 2 boxes and this covered well.
