PRODUCT INFORMATION:

Our 1st oil powered permanent haircolor for brilliant color and visibly healthier hair.

The oil powered technology propels colorants deep into the hair, without ammonia, giving you pure, vivid, long-lasting color. Olia visibly improves and restores hair as the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness for more brilliant, long-lasting color. Hair is Hydrated, Silky and up to 3X Shinier than unwashed, uncolored hair.

How is Olia different?
Unlike traditional haircolor, Olia uses an exclusive 60% oil blend with natural flower oils to achieve brilliant, radiant color results. The unique non-drip velvet cream formula propels colorants into the hair--without ammonia--with a pleasant sensorial fragrance.

Is this shade right for me?
Garnier Olia shade 6.3, "Light Golden Brown," has brilliant, golden tones that will add warmth to your results and will provide 100% gray coverage. This shade is best for anyone with natural hair between dark blonde and dark brown. If you would like to try a lighter shade that has golden reflects, try shade 6 1/2.3. Alternatively, for a darker shade, try 5.3.

If you would like to remain in the light brown range but would like to try other reflects and tones, there are many shades to choose from including 6.0, 6.03, 6.43, and 6.60.

*For women with currently color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 6.3 for hair that has been previously colored shade 4.0 "Dark Brown," or darker. For more help, use our Shade Selector Tool to find the perfect shade for you!

How to use:

Applying Olia: A Sensorial Experience
Olia transforms coloring your hair into a new sensorial experience. Because Olia is ammonia-free, it won't irritate your scalp and there is no harsh ammonia smell. Instead, Olia has a delicate floral scent. And, its non-drip, velvety cream texture helps provide optimal comfort during application.

Follow this step-by-step process when applying color at home:

1) Always do a skin test 48 hours before.
2) Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
3) Apply gloves, snap off tip and remove the cap of the Developer Bottle and add Colorant.
4) Shake the bottle vigorously to mix.
5) Start applying color at the roots, then away from roots to the tips.
6) Extend color through to the ends and massage into hair.
7) Leave formula on for 30 minutes.
8) Massage hair thoroughly before rinsing to optimize rinsing process.
9) Rinse hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
10) Apply conditioner after color and leave on for two minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gray No More I absolutely love Olia! Covered the gray completely and with beautiful, rich color! I like the fact that it did not have an odor and left my hair in good condition. It also has lasted longer than other hair color products I have used; approx. 4 months before I had to color again. My co - workers definitely noticed when I switched to Olia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Atracted by oil content, bought on a whim. Now my go to dye. No turning back! I have used many hair dyes from different competitors. This is by far the best hair dye I have used over the past 30 years. I am attracted to the oil content, how easy it is to apply and not being so messy. The results are surprisingly great. My hair is silky and soft as soon as it dried. It has been a week and a half and it is still soft and silky. I will remain with this product for a very long time. Thanks for creating it. Now I have a product that does what I had always looked for in other dyes. Smoothness and color stay.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have been coloring my hair for years. I recently tried Olia hair color (based on their claim of no peroxide) and was very disappointed. I found when using the product, it actually hardened on my scalp so much that it was difficult to wash out. It did not leave my hair feeling soft and looking shiny. Quite the opposite, it feels dry and damaged now. My hair has been falling out since I used the Olia product and based on other reviews this is not unusual. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from product great, delivery system awful I tried Olia for the first ti me last month. Your product is wonderful but your delivery system is awful. I could not control the bottle used to put the color on my hair. It kept slipping out of my hand and it really made a mess of my bathroom floor and sink. The bottle need s to be redesigned so that it's width is smaller and it should have some way of gripping the bottle so that you can keep contro

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Olia is my new favorite! To be honest the pretty box is what attracted me to Olia first. After reading about the product, it sound like something that was going to leave my hair in really good shape. And guess what, IT DID! The color is so beautifully rich and it covered my little grey ones wonderfully! This is now MY hair color!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color OK; packaging poor; not user friendly Color does not seem any different than Nutrisse which I have used for years. Packaging designers were not thinking of the ease of use. No reason to have a separate, wasting product developer container. Applicator bottle is TOO big and awkward to use. Finally just opened it and used my finger to get the mix out and onto my roots. So all this extra stuff makes the outside box too big as well. A lot of extra packaging and hoopla.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs improvement The gloves were so slippery when applying the color the applicator bottle kept slipping out of my hand . Also, the applicator bottle is too large for my smaller hands. Please change gloves and shape of bottle. I did not notice any smell, thank you for that, and it did not irritate my scalp, which is a problem I have experienced with other products, thanks again. The color looks good and my hair feels nice and soft. Since I used Olia for the first time yesterday, I cannot comment on how well the color lasts. I cannot recommend this product until gloves & bottle are changed to make it easy to use .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The box is very pretty, smells great, but left my hair feeling very oily ! Loved the packaging the box draws your attention to it, smelled good when mixing together not strong ammonia smelling but the after effects were not good. It left my hair feeling very oily and greasy!! Will not use the product again so sorry. But I tried it because I love garnier products but think this one just didn't hit the mark.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only Garnier Product I've EVER Hated! I had been happily using Nutrisse for years to cover partial gray and even out my color, and had high hopes for this new product. My hair was long, so I purchased two boxes to be sure I had enough. The product became almost waxy on my hair after applying, and was very hard to rinse off. The color apparently did not saturate well, did not cover the gray well at all, and washed out after 2 shampoos. I followed the instructions to the letter and use color protective products. The texture of my hair was never the same, and after unsuccessfully attempting to recolor with Nutrisse, I had to have it colored at a salon (for the first time in my life) and cut much shorter. I don't want to say it ruined my hair, but it certainly was not improved by this product. I don't know what went wrong, but I figured switching from one Garnier product to another wouldn't be a problem. Hopefully I can eventually go back to the Nutrisse when my hair grows out again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, could be easier to use. I had a hard time with the big tube of product, had to cut it open and use a rubber scraper to get it out. The smooth round applicator bottle was hard to hold onto while shaking it to mix it. I dropped it 14 times and got a lot of hair color all over the bathroom in the process. lots of clean up. A narrower bottle would be really helpful or some kind of texture to make it possible to hang onto it. The big tube #1, was so inflexible, could this be in some kind of packaging that you could get the ingredient out of easily, like maybe a pouch instead? I love the Fructis hair color and will have to switch back if I can't manage the new containers the Olia comes with. Otherwise, the color is good and I like the product itself, very much. I just wish it was easier to use. I also had a hard time figuring out what color to use based on the previous color I was using Fructis. A chart at the store would be helpful to figure out the Olia equivalent of the previous Fructis color some one was using. Thanks for making great products. I am a long time, loyal customer and fan!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Coverage I have used Garnier products for years. My hair ear to ear in the front is very grey. I had a beautician apply Olia per the package directions and upon rinsing it was obvious it had not covered much of the grey. It looked like it had been frosted, which was fine. I washed it for the first time yesterday and most of the grey is now showing as if it had not been colored. I will not buy this product again and would not recommend it for coverage of grey hair. The lack of the normal amonia oder and the texture it leaves the hair is very nice; but the reason you use coloring is to cover the grey and/or change the color of your hair. Olia did not accomplish this for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful color Love the way the color turns out and LOVE the lack of chemical smell during coloring. Hair feels wonderfully soft and healthy. One negative aspect I found was the shape of the applicator bottle. I have average sized hands and found it to be difficult to hold the bottle while simultaneously keeping my finger over the top and shaking it. My hands kept slipping. I ended up using two hands, one to cover the top and one to hold and shake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! My hair is soft and shiny. I have colored my hair for 20 yrs. I have dry/course hair. I love the smell, that it goes on without a mess. My hair is soft and shiny. I will use this product and recommend it to everyone I know!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not totally impressed At first glance, I thought that the black gloves looked nice. However, I ended up dropping the devloper and spilled some on my floor. I also had a difficult time holding the bottle due to the shape combined with the slippery gloves. I do like the smell of the product. I am in the process of doing my hair now. I hope it covers the gray....fingers crossed.
